Do I Qualify?

Attendance at the wedding of Israeli citizens, legal permanent residents or foreign nationals whose center of life is lawfully in Israel – the parents, grandparents and siblings of the Bride/Groom may apply.

Center of life is lawfully in Israel: This applies to those who have a valid visa and/or permit, and have been in Israel for at least 180 days of the last year.

For Unvaccinated travelers or those who do not have proof of recovery; permission is limited to parents of the bride and groom ONLY.

Documents Required for Upload

Copy of the applicants passport

You will need to upload a clear photo of the Applicants Passport.

The maximum document size allowed is 1200 KB. You may use a free tool such as https://compressjpeg.com/ to compress your images.

Medical Status

This can be a proof of vaccination or a proof of recovery from COVID.

You can upload:

  1. A copy of your COVID Vaccination Card
      1. A letter from a doctor confirming that you have fully recovered from COVID
      2. A letter from a doctor confirming that you have fully recovered from COVID.
      3. A PCR showing you were positive for COVID and A PCR showing the you were negative for COVID.
        You can merge both PCR test results by using a free online tool such as https://www.filesmerge.com/merge-jpg to create one file from both images.

Obligation to comply with all Israeli authority's COVID-19 limitations and instructions

You need to fill out the Health Declaration Form.

You can either 

  1. Click here to download and complete the form or
  2. Click Here to be directed to our online form filler.

Fill out the information of the applicant.

If you use our online form, after clicking submit, you will be receive and email with your completed and signed form. Make sure to download your completed form to upload it with your application.

Proof of Relationship

You will need to provide documented proof of relationship between the applicant and the relative who is getting married, using an official government issued document such as a Birth Certificate, Marriage License etc.

If your child is getting married:

  1. Your child’s (Bride/Groom) Birth Certificate listing you as the parent.
  2. Proof of last name change: This only applies if you and/or your child has a different last name then the one listed on the birth certificate.
    Example: Leah Klein is getting married, and her mother’s (the applicant) last name was listed on her birth certificate as Chani Klein,  but she has gotten remarried and her name is now Chani Weiss. In addition to providing Leah’s birth certificate, the applicant is required to upload their marriage license or government document showing her last name was legally changed from Klein to Weiss

If your grandchild is getting married:

  1. Your child’s (parent of the bride/grooms) Birth Certificate listing you as the parent.
  2. Your Grandchild’s (Bride/Grooms) Birth Certificate listing your child as the parent.
  3. Proof of last name change: This only applies if you, your child, and/or your grandchild has a different last name then the one listed on the birth certificate.
    You will need to upload a separate proof of last name change for each time a last name was changed from the original birth certificate. 

There is only place to to upload a “Proof of Relationship” file.

Upon submission you will receive an email containing one PDF with all the files you uploaded, as well as the proper steps to compress the file so it can be uploaded with your application.

Request for marriage or other wedding registration form and/or joint notaries affidavit

You will need to upload both

  1. Copy of the Wedding Invitation
  2. Confirmation from the Rabbinate of the wedding registration.

Copy of a passport or Teudat Zehut/Toshav of the first-degree relative, residing in Israel

You will need to upload a copy of the Passports of both the bride and groom.

Proof of the first-degree relation to the relative residing in Israel

You will need to upload a copy of the Student Visas of both the bride and groom: If they are not Israeli citizens. For Israeli citizens, upload a copy of their Tudat Zehut

Additional Documents Required

 If you are traveling as a couple:  Marriage license of the traveling couple.

Application for an Entry Permit

Once you have prepared your required documents, it is time to start filling out the Application for an entry permit to Israel .

Visit https://govforms.gov.il/mw/forms/[email protected]#!requestDetails  where you will see an application open with a unique “Application Number”

If you are traveling with others, start by clicking “Make a copy” until you have enough applications opened for each passenger traveling.

Start filling out your application, and when you get to “Medical Status”, upload your proof of vaccination or a proof of recovery from COVID.

Submit your form

Click “Send” when you are ready to submit your document, and you will then receive an automatic reply to your email telling you that your application has been submitted. It will also include the attachments you submitted so you can confirm everything looks okay.
