Receptionist - Full Time

Location - Lower Manhattan

Looking for a dedicated Receptionist to handle clients facing crisis with care, as well as general office management tasks. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

– Answer main phone and direct calls appropriately
– Check general voicemail and notify specific recipients first thing in the morning and throughout the day
– Meet and greet clients and visitors
– Ensure conference rooms and reception area remain presentable
– Setup and coordinate meetings and calls
– Order food/set up and clean-up for team lunches
– Receive and distribute daily mail, deliveries, and couriers
– Arrange messenger pick-ups/FedEx shipments
– Perform general administrative duties including but not limited to: data entry, light drafting and/or research, photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing
– Compile the kitchen/office supplies list and give to office manager
– Provide general office support and assist with events and/or special projects as needed

– HS Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
– Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
– Knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing documents
– Solid organization skills and highly detail-oriented –great attention to detail a must
– Ability to create an organized filing system
– Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
– Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone manner
– Experience with Word, Excel, QuickBooks, Salesforce or willingness to learn
– Overachieving attitude and enhanced work ethic
